UATL cultural heritage restitution foundation was originally established and sponsored by UATL corporation in 2004 as internal non-commercial structure.
UATL Foundation was originally designed to represent UATL corporation (est.1989) social and cultural responsibility to the world.
In 2022 UATL foundation was renamed to Non-commercial UATL cultural heritage restitution foundation - UATL CHRF - to reflect extended concept missions to bring peace with the culture.
HISTORY
The first primary purpose of the UATL foundation at the very beginning was to preserve and restore antique legal books collection out of mr. Teider's private family library.
The collection consist of more then 6000 collectables all dated 19th century and before.
The library have limited access for selected scientific researchers and historians due to the condition, age and material sencitivity of the books.
In 2006 the restoration workshop was established and equipped for the books restoration.
In 2006 - 2010 the scientific connections with academic structures like Saint Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art, Florence Art Academy, Astana State Art Academy and others extended competency to rare and antique mosaic and sculpture forensic and restoration.
The artworks forensic department was started in 2014 at UATL Private Research University designed and patented novel mode of using neutron scanner scintillators invented by mr. Teider's old friend, partner and director of UATL University, well-known in scientific world as CERN and Nobel Committee member, high energy physics professor Risto Orava.
After 2019 and 2020 the collection becomes significantly extended and included artifacts recognised as possible national treasure for some nations.
Mr. Teider decided to develop the legal process for restitution of cultural heritage and invited some of the former and active diplomats, archeologists, experts and cultural representatives of several countries for cooperation.
The name "UATL cultural heritage restitution foundation" was considerably accepted by all parties as reflectin true and honor purpose to bring peace to the world with preserving and returning significantly valuables cultural artifacts to the nations.
